Heat Press Settings: There isn't a standard setting that works for all heat presses—it's all about finding the sweet spot! Start by trying a temperature range of 315-320°F for 20seconds. Always use the highest possible pressure on the heat press. After experimenting, you’ll discover the best settings for your machine, ensuring reliable results for future presses.
Preparation and Printing: In the first step, place the desired design on the area where you’ll apply the DTF transfer. Smooth out any wrinkles on the garment if needed. Then, determine the appropriate heat settings for the garment type and press the transfer accordingly.Hot Peel Instructions: After pressing the transfer, peel the film off while the design is still hot. Pull the film sideways, not upwards, ensuring the design adheres smoothly to the fabric. It's a good idea to check if the design is sticking properly. If necessary, you can apply heat and pressure again to make any adjustments.
Second Press: Cover the transferred image with parchment paper, kraft paper, or a Teflon cover sheet and press it with heat for an additional 10-15 seconds. This step enhances the durability of the transfer.
Final Washing: When washing the garment, turn it inside out, wash in cold water, and either air dry or tumble dry on low heat.
